MMSP2+ is an upgraded model of MMSP2, a
multimedia application processor,
designed to prepare for the convergence of portable terminals
such as personal navigation, PMP,MP3 player, and mobile
TV terminal.
It has not only the multimedia function (H264, 3D graphic,
NTSC-PAL Encoder), but also other functions of realizing
more than two applications simultaneously,
in order to increase the application of convergence
system.

MMSP2+ supports more diversified video formats: dual
CPU, MPEG4, H.264, and MPEG4 encoding.
It also is capable of embodying splendid and distinct
UI, and graphic contents like navigation map and game
very effectively by supporting 3D graphics as well as
2D.
Besides, it supports various interfaces that are demanded
by market trend regarding the portable systems such
as USB 2.0 and 6 channels UART.
In addition to realizing a variety of functions necessary
for multimedia system,
MMSP2+, focused on reinforced performance, has the simultaneous
functions as follows:
- Capture and preview functions can be operated simultaneously
when outside video is input.
- Two separate displays from terminal can be reproduced simultaneously;
one is navigation and the other DMB broadcast.
- Navigation can be displayed on a terminal and at the same
time
DMB broadcast can be seen by connecting the terminal to another
monitor.
-A cursor can be used on a screen, so that one window will
show videos while another window displays games at the same
time in the same desktop.
To meet the shortened cycle of system, MMSP2+ provides:
-Development tool, a solution suitable for the fast and simple
development of a particular system.
-Various other solutions optimized on chip for the addition
of other functions.
